Cover During Absence

Absence management is not easy.  Employees taking periods of leave can disrupt a business. iFDs are used to providing FD cover during leave (e.g. maternity leave, an illness or a sabbatical). They can create flexibility through a job share, and fill in as the FD gradually returns to work. Here are some recent assignments undertaken by iFDs.

Industry: Google Cloud Premier Partner

Initially appointed to provide accounting and finance resources at short notice on an interim arrangement for an unknown duration. Worked closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to supplement the existing resource. The quality and quantity of output led to a permanent part-time position currently in its fifth year.

Industry: Recruitment

Appointed to provide cover on an interim basis and support a financial controller to discharge the duties expected of an experienced FD. Supported the FC with the delivery of management information, structure and format of the budget process and monthly review of underlying financials within the business.
