Graduating with a degree in Physics from the University of Manchester, Greg qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. After qualification, he moved into industry progressing through various finance roles with Xerox as well as Group Financial Controller for a private equity-backed distribution business. More recently, Greg was Group Finance Director for a group in the recycling and construction sector and provided FD mentoring to support a CFO in the IT infrastructure and solutions sector.
As a part-time or interim CFO, Greg enjoys helping businesses take control and fully understand their finances, not just where they are today but where they need to be in the future. He likes to bring clarity so that all stakeholders across the business can make better decisions. Most importantly, Greg is focused on ensuring that companies have the right funding in place to enable them to achieve their strategic goals. When undertaking work for his clients, Greg brings a comprehensive understanding of the accounting and finance mechanics that drive key business decisions.
