Nick is a pragmatic and experienced CFO who has held senior roles in companies in the biotech, Technology, Media, Telecom, and B2B Professional Services sectors.
Several companies were PE/VC/HNWI backed and/or founder-owned.
Nick trained as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and qualified in 1987 with a top 20 firm in London, having gained particular experience with SMEs.
He has an excellent track record of making a positive impact on people and, in each case, has become a key member of the management team. After 20+ years of working in companies of all sizes, from start-up to £25m turnover, he has wide-ranging financial, legal and administrative management experience. He has an exceptional network of contacts able to provide the appropriate level of support in many related disciplines.
From 2000 to 2010, Nick was Finance Director, Company Secretary, and Executive Board Member at a VC/HNWI backed acquisitive software and services company. He was part of the 2002 MBO team, which sold the company in 2010 at a double-digit multiple. £9m to £18m turnover, 120 staff.
Since 2010 Nick has been working with exciting fast-growing VC/PE backed companies on a flexible basis.
